Thai Marching Band Does Pop Song Covers

Thai students in a marching band perform their own versions of pop songs at an umbrella festival in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. The youngsters in red and white costumes were taking part in the annual celebration in the village of Bo Sang. Locals – known as the umbrella people – have been producing hand-made and intricately painted paper umbrellas for hundreds of years. Each year, villagers celebrate their tradition by lining the streets with bright, intricately decorated umbrellas.
