On August 24th, 2019 the Columbus Saints completed their final Ohio rehearsal before heading to DCA World Championships. Presenting their 2019 production “Heart of Steam” the corps played numerous selections from the Steampunk genre including selections by Bear McCreary, Alice’s Night Circus, and Panic at the Disco! The corps scored it’s the highest score ever and made its first appearance at finals bring to close an amazing season. Early in 2019, the corps sustained a loss of the theft of their trailer. After a diligent search by local law enforcement, the trailer was recovered with about 75% of the equipment and items intact. Throughout this the corps members kept their spirits high and focused on the words in our creed “we don’t quit.” The 2019 season represents the growth of the corps over the years and the progress made even under hard circumstances.

For 2020, the corps is making plans to take it back… way back to the 1970 and 1980s with a FUNKY production. Looking back to our 2016 Gold Medalist show “The Elements of Funk”, we’re planning a great production! For 2020, we’re reducing our membership fees, competing in more local shows, while still going on a 3-day drum corps tour throughout the midwest! Learn more at columbussaints.org/drumcorps .
