Santa Clara Vanguard Uniforms HATED? Is It Innovation or The Downfall Of Tradition? (+Drum Lesson)

The Santa Clara Vanguard is one of my favorite Drum Crops of all time and there is no doubt about that. Probably one of my most favorite aspects is the way they hold on to their traditions and that they are responsible for some of the most iconic shows in DCI history.
Obviously, this year the Vanguard has deviated from that tradition with some new style uniforms and while some people love it, I know for sure that some people hate it. What should we think of this change?
Either way, hopefully, my love for Vanguard will shine through in this video and we can at least take a trip down memory line. If you don’t know the history that much, then I hope I can provide some context for you 🙂
