Real Heroes Don't Need Social Media To Tell You Just How Heroic They Are!

2 min read

Ever hear the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words”? This is an old saying but it is very true. There are people running wild on Fakebook, YOUtube, Instagram and many other social media sites pretending to be something they simply are not. When a person does not / CANNOT accomplish things they see as heroic, well, they can create this façade to trick others into believing they have. Challenge yourself to research these heroes. If you are looking for a real life hero there are plenty. Plenty of men and women who have given their life to save others (not just police or military). There are people who have done things so incredible that it defies logic. Then there are those who read stories about these heroes and steal them to make them their own. Or pretend to be friends with a hero, especially a fallen hero who cannot validate their friendship. Let’s dig deep into why these fake heroes feel the need to do these type of things. Is it money? Fame? Romance? Let’s have an honest discussion. Drop the drama off at the door. This is NOT about anyone in particular. Just a topic I was suggested to cover by a friend of mine who is a real life hero and has the scars and medals to prove it. But MY friend wants no recognition because he acted when he saw something happening and he stepped in. #Hero #RealLifeHero #FakeHero #OnlineHero #WannabeHero #SocialMediaHero #AllGutsNoGlory #AllGloryNOguts
