DrumCorps.net is an independent directory and guide to drum corps programs, history and participation. It helps performers and families compare opportunities and find official sources. It is not operated by Drum Corps International or by an individual corps, and a listing does not imply endorsement or an available membership position.
Current programs and historical records
The active directory, historical archive and alumni entries serve different purposes. A historical performance, anniversary project or dated announcement does not establish that an ensemble is recruiting now. Use the source and status attached to a listing, then confirm current operations directly with the organization.
Using the comparison scores
The homepage matcher compares the profile scores with the targets you choose. Its percentage describes closeness to those displayed scores, not your chance of passing an audition. Difficulty and cost comparisons are planning aids, not official corps ratings. Read the explanatory notes and underlying costs before relying on a number. Alumni scores reflect submitted feedback and are separate from staff selection decisions.
How to compare an opportunity
- Confirm the ensemble, season, class, location and age pathway.
- Read the current audition packet for your section.
- Request the full cost, payment schedule and refund terms.
- Check rehearsal, travel, school and work commitments.
- Ask about member support and the official route for reporting concerns.
A link to a registration form is an invitation to research, not a recommendation to pay before checking the details. The Drum Corps FAQ helps organize these questions.
Sources, editorial review and corrections
Official corps and governing-body material should support current requirements. Historical sources should be identified and their context preserved. Embedded video belongs to its creator and is presented as a reference. General guides should add a practical checklist or analysis rather than imply firsthand experience that has not been documented. Automated drafts require review before publication.
Explore active corps, browse the historical archive, or use the video room.
Contact and corrections
Email mark@wrhel.com with the page URL, the passage or feature involved, and a link to a reliable source when reporting a factual error. Do not send passwords, identity documents, medical records, or payment details. Questions about an external organization’s application, fees, service, or account belong with that organization.
