The Battalion at a glance
A growing Utah program
Historical drama on the field
The Battalion has recently built productions around historical or legendary settings. DCI’s 2026 feature connects In Search Of to the Knights Templar and a cinematic search narrative. It places that program after the Spanish Armada theme of 2024’s Dead Reckoning and Norse mythology in 2025. Program director Brian Ellis describes a preference for stories and legends that can support compelling musical drama.
Member protection and reporting
The public safety page accepts concern reports and explains that a reporter need not know every fact or conduct an investigation. It permits anonymous reporting while noting the limits on follow-up. Its whistleblower policy prohibits retaliation and identifies the executive team or board chair as recipients for potential policy or legal violations.
