Theatiki Fife & Drum Corps- Freezer Jam 2006

This was our “Beyond the Sea” set but has come to be known as “The Pirate Set.” Midland Michigan was the host for Freezer Jam 2006. This was our 4th year of existance and, well, our marching was not too good, and our playing was….not too good either. But we made up for it with our enthusiasm and crowd appeal. The Midwest Fife and Drum Community surely was not expecting this. It was sort of like WWF meets Fifie and Drum! Songs include: Thro’ the Lang Muir, Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Cape Cod Girls, Drunken Sailor, Roving Sailor, A-Rovin, Tenth of June,and finishing off with a medley from the Pirates of the Carribean Movie! We’ve played better shows but, I don’t think we’ll ever top this. I was told later, there were two standing ovations that night….One was for the United States Army Old Guard and the other for us!
