This is the fifth uploaded video clip of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Montreal this Sunday March 22, 2009. It shows a massed pipes and drums corps comprised of members of The Black Watch (RHR) of Canada, The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa, and The Calgary Highlanders. A total of 87 musicians on parade.
This video, and all other videos of the 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Montreal, were shot in 720p HD video using my Nikon D90 DSLR in D-Movie Mode with an 18-200mm Nikkor VR lens. The picture quality is a lot sharper than the compressed YouTube “normal” video which makes it look very “soft”. View this HD video in YouTube’s HQ mode if you can, it is a lot better “viewing experience”. They look good in full screen mode. About 15-20 more video clips of the 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade are on the way. . .
