Singer/songwriter Mark Guerrero interviews Mike Aversa, founding member and leader of two popular East L.A. bands of the 1960s, Mickey & the Invaders and Dyna-Might. Mickey & the Invaders played the East L.A. circuit playing R&B, doowop, and British Invasion music, and major surf venues playing surf music, including the legendary Rendezvous Ballroom. Dyna-Might recorded for MCA records and in concert backed major artists such as the Righteous Brothers, Sonny & Cher, and the Blossoms.
