I’ve seen all kinds of students and at times, they can get a little negative on themselves. Turns out, the more negative they get, the worse they play. In those moments, it almost seems like they believe they’re not going to play well and then low and behold, their own prophecy comes true.
So wouldn’t it make sense that the inverse is true? If you believe that you will have a good rep, then you give yourself a better chance of executing a good rep and you would’ve fulfilled a positive prophecy.
