The documented record
Blue Devils is listed with Glen Ellyn, IL in the pre-DCI section of Brian Tolzmann’s historical master list, published by Drum Corps World and preserved by the DCX Museum.
The source reference is printed page 392 (PDF page 4). This identifies a historical listing; it does not establish exact founding or closing dates, competitive results, or uninterrupted operation.
This is a brief archival record, not yet a full researched history. The recorded spelling and location are retained to help distinguish similarly named corps. Relationships to renamed or successor organizations remain to be established individually.

Reference: Brian Tolzmann, Master list of North American junior, senior and alumni drum and bugle corps, historical compilation updated in 2002. Its pre-DCI section covers corps documented before January 1, 1972; that period is a collection boundary, not this corps’ lifespan.
